Reflection/personal thoughts:
- change is coming - the pace, the amount and the impact are flexible
- some are open to this change, others hesitant
- Principal open to what this may look like - no fixed ideas " building the plane while in the air".
- the 7/8 area is very different from 9/13 - closer relationships because of more time spent growing them means differing perceptions of ways to manage behaviour?
- sitting back and listening as 'the new kid on the block' has given me an interesting overview of the personalities, view points, priorities a large college like KKC has.
- the change is good, the change is for the betterment of the students - the Principal is adamant that they are at the front of any decision on change
- KKC staff have many opportunities to be part of this change - plenty of consultation
- the goal is to have 100% staff involvement in all invitations to submit views, data, discussions to the evolution of this change
